Camila Cabello, a great cross-over artist in the making.

When Camila decided to go the solo route I can't say that I was all that surprised. She always had a certain je ne sais quoi that set her apart from the pack, (dating back to her beginning days on The X-factor). Now, don't get me wrong I think the other ladies from Fifth Harmony are talented as well, but Camila seemed to march to her own beat. If leaving the group behind and going solo is what fills her heart, then I support it 100%. After all, life should be about doing what makes you utterly happy and staying true to yourself. I believe in Camila's solo path, not only because she's had a lot of success recently, collaborating with the likes of Shawn Mendes, Machine Gun Kelly and Cashmere Cat, but because she's passionate about her Latin background. What does that tell us? Not only can she make hits in English, but the fact that she's bi-lingual tells us that she can tap into a whole new market, make new fans, sell more albums and become one of the next great cross-over artists. Let's take a quick stroll to the past. Who's been able to slay the American, English market and the Spanish language market simultaneously? Gloria Estefan. She is the most successful cross-over artist to-date with hits like Conga and Bad-Boy. She was definitely a trail-blazer. Think about it? She wouldn't have a Broadway show dedicated to her life story if she didn't deserve it! Then there's my personal favorite, the one and only Selena Quintanilla. Not only did she dominate the Tejano market in the early 90's, (with numerous best-selling Spanish albums), but she also ultimately had a great cross-over album; Dreaming of You.

Enrique Iglesias' Súbeme la Radio premiers

After weeks of teaser images and videos, Enrique Iglesias' "Subeme la Radio (Turn up the Radio)", featuring Descemer Bueno and Zion y Lennox has finally dropped. The video, directed by Alejandro Pérez, who also directed Bailando and Duele el Corazon, aired on February 24 and takes place in the beautiful, honest streets of La Havana, Cuba. With colorful decor, fans of all ages dancing in the streets and the magic that takes place when these artists get together, this video (and song) are sure to go down in the books as mega (club bangin') hits.

http://www.billboard.com/files/media/enrique-iglesias-in-cuba-press-jan-2017-billboard-1548.jpgThere's something very genuine about the video. Enrique is dancing with everyone, there's romance and whimsy in the air. You can feel how truly happy the locals are to be participating in something so special. The song itself is insanely catchy. Enrique has mastered creating songs that have a special blend of Latin Pop (which he is historically known for) and Reggaeton, which he's been playing into a lot of as of late. Whatever this star touches turns into gold and I can't wait to see what this Spanish hottie will work on next.

The ear crawler/climber/pin.

Hola chicas!

Apologies for not having posted in a couple of weeks, but I simply had to find the time to write about one of favorite trends; the ear climber, aka, the crawler or pin. These earrings literally sit up against the side of your ear for an extremely chic and fashion forward look! I have been obsessed from the second I saw them all over the red carpet. One of my favorite styles are Rashida Jones' Pearl cluster ear climbers, (which she wore at the 2014 Golden Globes)!
I quickly went on a cyber hunt to find an affordable version for myself. I stumbled upon a website called Jewel IQ and snagged these faux pearl climbers that I LOVE. What website are you currently obsessing over? Let me know!

Hasta la proxima!

The Peplum Take Over!

Whether I’m shopping at Forever 21 or browsing through one of my favorite websites - NastyGal, I've noticed that peplum dresses are definitely in high demand! They're cute and most importantly, flattering on all ends. The flared skirt adds proportion to any woman, playing up that coveted hourglass shape and hiding any extra tummy you may be self conscious about!

I found you all a couple of affordable peplum dresses, similar to the ones seen on these fabulous celebrities! You’ll find a selection of sexy cut-out dresses (which is another trend that looks amazing with peplum detailing), in the slide show below. For those who of you want to opt for something a little more demure, worry not - I've got that covered too!

MUNDOFOX set to captivate the US Latino Market

I consider myself a bi-cultural individual. I speak Spanish as easily as I speak English. I was born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens and my parents are both Ecuadorian. I lived in the beautiful country for about a year when I was growing up – sure not a lot of time, but enough to never-ever forget to speak and write in Spanish. So what do I like? What music do I listen to? Well simply everything and to me, that’s the beauty of being bi-cultural. I love all kinds of music, Pop, Latin Pop, Rock, Latin Rock - you get the picture. As for TV - ask me if I watch a Telenovela and I will automatically answer no. Sure I’ve watched my share of Thalia novelas growing up, think back to MariMar and Maria La Del Barrio, but I mean c’mon! Who hasn’t? As time progressed, I outgrew the stereotypical poor girl marries a rich boy story-line, (vice-versa).
