Some men at PJ dressed to impress while others, well others
simply forgot to dress! There were a lot of bright colors worn by the gentleman
of the night as well as casual outfits topped off with high-top sneakers/boots.
Let’s go ahead and start to look at the best dressed of the night.
Venezualan fashionista, Rodner Figueroa, looked amazing in
his pastel yellow pants and blue-grey blazer. He paired it with matching grey
sneakers and a simple white button down. His pocket scarf with blue and yellow
accents was the perfect touch to his ensemble. Rodner certainly knows what he’s
doing!
Moving on to the NYC native, Prince Royce… Oh how I loved
his look! He dressed in a white age appropriate suit, keeping it casual with a
V-neck tee and black high-top sneakers. You rocked it Royce!
Finally we get to Chino y Nacho. They definitely hit the
color-block mark right on the dot! Pairing their colored vests with khakis was
a good move. They kept their main focus on the bright colors and that is an
expert fashion move!
Now…the worst dressed of the night. DUN DUN DUN….
We have the oh-so very adorable ex RBD member Christian
Chavez. His attire was a little too casual for the evening. Yes, the night
carried on with a youthful theme, but he looked like he was going to the supermarket.
As much as I love his songs (RBD I miss you!), I did not love this outfit.
Let’s proceed to another NYC native, Romeo Santos. I’m
guessing he went for a simple look and thought it was well put together, but
I’m sad to say it was not. Such a great singer should have just as great a
stylist! This leather jacket just seemed too heavy for the Floridian weather
and his boots - why were they untied? Romeo, you’re not going to find your
Santa dressed like that.
Then there was Pee Wee. It really seemed as though he thought
he was right on trend! I’m here to inform you all on the fact that he was not.
The singer wore a shirt that said “Esta noche todo es SEXO” which translates
into “Tonight it’s all about SEX”…I mean really? I guess he was out of
non-tacky tees. Then there was the case of the untied boots again. Thumbs down.
Lastly, we have Dyland and Lenny. Sure, they have abs and
sure, any man would be proud to show them off, but on a BEACH. Not to an awards
show! They could have easily put on simple T-shirts to compliment the jeans and
shoes they did remember to put on. Next time boys!
